- How do these pillars burn? Do they drip?
- The candlesticks burn approximately 1” per hour. They will drip (quite beautifully!) because the natural soy wax hasn’t been chemically modified to be “dripless”.
- It’s recommended that you burn these candlesticks in 2-hour sessions so you can enjoy them over several dinners.
- They will burn to just past the first ring where they will hover for quite some time.
- Are the pillars scented?
- They’re unscented for good reason. As a foodie, I deeply appreciate the gift of special meal and the scents that come with it. This candle is designed to add a special atmosphere without a competing scent.
- Do I need to put them on anything? A tray or something similar?
- These pillars have a built in base and will not burn to the very bottom so they are safe to put on your dining table or any non-porous surface. They will drip and when cooled, the drippings will pop off cleanly. For peace of mind, you can put the candles on a tray, some parchment paper or small saucers.
- Do they come in that elegant packaging?
- Yes they sure do! They make the perfect gift, ready for hand-off with the addition of seasonal ribbon.
