Artist Emma Mierop is a 28-year-old self-taught machine embroidery artist, doll maker and illustrator based in the NJ/NYC area.
Emma has worked at Parcel, a specialty packaging and correspondence shop in Montclair, N.J., for nearly a decade as a shop manager and visual merchandiser.
Several years ago, outside of the shop, Emma created Skippy Cotton: an outlet for her love of textile artwork, vibrant characters and crude illustrations that strives to bring happiness and wonder to those who come across it.
