Description
“A unique art doll inspired by a childhood memory. Do you remember the paper dolls we used to cut out and assemble? A few years back I was inspired to create a textile version of this doll- delicately assembled from various machine embroidered parts.” Emma Mierop, artist
Each doll’s head and shoulders are stitched in metallic gold, crimson red, and dark brown embroidery threads. She gets embroidered, turned, and hand stuffed with cotton- then is pressed flat and embellished with a hand smocked cloth skirt.
13″ tall
